Art | Basel | Miami Beach event locations (+)

Miami is the conglomerate of the Miami city limits, Miami-Dade county, the suburbs and neighboring cities as well as the neighborhoods that populate it. The cities include Miami, South Miami, Key Biscayne, Fisher Island, Miami Beach (including the famed South Beach), Hollywood and all the way up to Fort Lauderdale to the north. It may help to think of the greater area as Miami-Dade, or Miami-Dade county famed in recent U.S. presidential elections (for example the hanging chads of the disputed Bush-Gore 2000 election) - +. The main event is actually in Miami Beach, hence Art | Basel | Miami Beach. The event flier calls attention to 15 locations of note. The fair itself is taking place at the Miami Beach Convention Center with galleries from around the world representing contemporary artists (more on the galleries and specific cities making a strong showing in a few days and then on to specific artists). The following is a selection from the Art|Basel|Miami Beach list of key locations. You may note that some of these locations have poor web presence at best, others such as the Rubell Family Collection are worth exploring online. None of these, however, gives an accurate view of the work seen as it is intended and/or as it is installed:
